Change is inevitable. If we don't manage change,
it will mismanage us
Places and roles are moving and changing, in and around us. Change is inevitable and in one's priorities but sometimes it can be difficult to accept or implement.
There is a succession of normal changes in life, children growing into adults and leaving home, changes in employment, house moves, parents dying etc. Some changes should be understood as an opportunity for growth. There are also changes that can be seen as negative such as divorce, unemployment or death.

Most change entails a complete modification of lifestyle and sometimes values which can be quite daunting and worrying. Once worry sets in it can lead to stress and anxiety.

Studies using Magnetic Resonance Imaging have shown that psychotherapy helps people to overcome stress and anxiety. Psychotherapy gives people resilience and helps with coping strategies to overcome uncertainties enabling a move toward a healthier more positive lifestyle.
