Supporting qualified therapists and trainees
As a child and adolescent Psychotherapist and an adult Counsellor I offer supervision to both trainees and experienced therapists working with all age groups..

To enable this I take responsibility to; ensure you, the Supervisee, adheres to the highest ethical guidelines, ensure you use up to date evidence based treatments, give encouraging feedback relative to your developmental stage, encourage self awareness, self reflection and management of wellbeing.

I believe in working with authentic understanding, open contact and a sense of equality and value rather than taking an authoritarian approach.

I work experientially with various models from different schools of psychotherapy. I feel the variation enables me to offer a flexible approach, unique to your needs as a Supervisee.

My integrative approach enables me to support you as an individual in developing your own unique way of working;- no single person is the same or experiences the same so why would the approach to Supervision be the same?

My work with the Northern Guild for counselling and psychotherapy training organisation has given me insight into the requirements of a therapist in training. I am able to offer support with assignments, assessments and exams.

My practice is guided by the professional standards and ethical procedures United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Practice Guidelines for Supervisors of Child Practitioners (2018), United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Practice Guidelines for Supervisors (2018), British Association Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework (2018).

My aim as a Supervisor is to enhance the service you offer to your clients
